Ohio State’s Division of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery is nationally recognized for our patient care and research contributions in minimally invasive techniques, bariatric surgery, treatment of gastroesophageal reflux conditions, esophageal cancer, wound care, hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer, and neuroendocrine disorders of the pancreas. Diseases and cancer of the colon and rectum are specialty areas of our colorectal surgeons. All surgeons within the division are board-certified and have completed fellowships, and each surgeon practices subspecialty surgery limited to his area of expertise. All our surgeons are high-volume providers, which means that patients are treated by teams of specialists with experience in managing even the most unusual and complicated cases. This ensures that each patient receives the best possible care. The division serves as a resource for health-care throughout the region and the nation. Learn more about our patient care services: |
