About the Division

Based at Columbus Children’s Hospital, the Division of Pediatric Surgery continues a tradition of more than 50 years of national prominence in its clinical, educational, and academic programs. This year saw the opening of the first phase of a perioperative services clinical expansion, with the addition of new operating rooms with integrated technology, anesthesia induction rooms allowing parental presence, and other family-centered amenities. The hospital embarked on a major development plan that will include the building of a replacement hospital of at least 11 stories and 400 beds, to begin construction in 2008.
